Team promotions

Our team are crucial to the consistent, high-quality service we offer here at Catch 22 — from the food we serve to how it’s delivered to your table and everything in-between. We’re committed to investing in our staff and creating real opportunities for progression in line with their dedication, skills and leadership.  

We’re therefore thrilled to announce five well-deserved promotions ahead of summer 2026:

Karen, Restaurant Manager 

Karen has worked at Catch 22 since 2022, and prides herself on her organisation and communication skills. Her favourite dish on the Catch 22 menu is the crab nachos, and in her spare time, Karen loves nothing more than spending time with her furry son Griff (and the rest of her family, too...).  

Adam, Head Chef 

Adam’s work ethic is second to none, as is his passion and knowledge of local Welsh produce. Adam joined the team in 2021 after rising through the ranks of various Anglesey kitchens, including Marram Grass and Tre Ysgawen — and has earnt the respect of all team members on his path to becoming head chef. The kitchen is in capable (and skilful) hands! Outside work, Adam plays the guitar and goes to the gym. He also makes a mean beef stroganoff! 

Sion, Senior Sous Chef 

Sion and Adam might just be the duo we never knew we needed. His favourite dish to make? A risotto! Especially if it involves seafood. And when he’s not working he loves nothing more than spending time with his daughter, Lili. 

Ela, supervisor 

Hard-working, fun and studious are just three words to describe Ela. Local to Dulas, Ela has already demonstrated excellent leadership skills, earning her new title as front-of-house supervisor. Her favourite thing about working at Catch 22? It’s like one big supportive family, which makes coming to work very enjoyable. We promise we didn’t pay her to say that (!)

Jess, supervisor  

Jess is a true ray of sunshine, bringing plenty of fun and mischief to our front-of-house. Outside of work, Jess enjoys cleaning her house and spending time with her cat, Kitty. We look forward to watching Jess’ career continue to progress.
